About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Project Manager to join our Transaction Advisory practice within the Aon Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions global practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in delivering risk and insurance advisory projects, including business development, project delivery, and implementing new insurance programs.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Due Diligence Team, including coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Undertake healthchecks of current insurance programs and analyze key contractual agreements from an insurance perspective.
  • Provide insurance-related mergers and acquisitions advice and insights to clients and deal parties.
  • Build internal relationships and coordinate specialist advice and services provided by other Aon practices.
  • Liaise with internal Aon teams to implement insurance programs arising from the team's advisory services.
  • Support business development activities, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for potential new projects.
  • Build relationships with private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, and financial institutions to leverage into future business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience in insurance broking and account management for corporate and/or global accounts.
  • Delivering superior client service by being responsive and available to meet clients' demands.
  • Collegiate attitude and good communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail in analyzing information.
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven work environment.
  • Interest in learning about Merger and Acquisition (M&A) and insurance and risk advisory due diligence processes.
  • Degree in Commerce, Economics, Law, or related field.
  • Tier 1 or Diploma qualification.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
