Freight Forwarding Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Operations Manager to lead our teams in Sydney and Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader and make a tangible impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Client Services professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Clients Relationship Management: Manage and nurture key client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and timely solutions for their freight forwarding needs.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with internal departments to drive service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Business Growth Strategies: Develop and implement strategies for client retention, service improvement, and business growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on team performance, customer satisfaction, and KPIs, taking proactive steps to address any service gaps.
- Experience: Proven experience in a client services management within the freight forwarding industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of overseeing teams in multiple locations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including international shipping, customs, and logistics.
- Audited Salary: The salary for this position is approximately $120,000 AUD per annum, plus superannuation.
