We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Lead Instrument and Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Tech Bridge Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering functional safety, control systems, and electrical designs for our client's burner management systems across Asia Pacific projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of functional safety and control systems for burner management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to determine the correct safety integrity level and control systems approach for each project.
- Develop and implement wiring schematics, panel GA, and cable block diagrams, as well as cable schedules and termination drawings for equipment related to burner management systems.
- Conduct instrument selection, sizing calculations, and prepare instrument datasheets, RFQs, and electrical BOMs.
- Review and approve subcontractor drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Oversee the project life cycle from design through testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, including burners and valve trains.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless flow of work and concurrent engineering.
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls & Instrumentation (EIC) Engineering.
- Significant experience in EIC engineering design, procurement, supervision of panel assembly work, inspection, and testing.
- Functional safety certification and previous experience delivering control systems in compliance with functional safety.
- Proven ability to engineer and design wiring schematics, panel GA, and cable block diagrams, as well as cable schedules and termination drawings.
- Instrument selection, sizing calculations, and preparation of instrument datasheets, RFQs, and electrical BOMs.
- Ability to review subcontractor drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Full project life cycle experience from design through testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Practical experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems from various OEMs.
- Ability to work closely with other engineering disciplines for seamless flow of work and concurrent engineering.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
