About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading rural university, building strong relationships and implementing student recruitment initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing events, projects, and presentations to various audience types.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the work of Marketing Officers to ensure high-quality information and services are provided to future students and stakeholders.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with schools and career practitioners across the Sunraysia region and surrounding areas.
  • Implement key student recruitment events such as Experience La Trobe and Open Day, driving applications for the Mildura campus.
  • Recruit students into Aspire Early Entry Programs and Pathways across the Mildura Campus area.
  • Represent the University at selected recruitment activities and exhibitions.

Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in any relevant field, or extensive experience and management expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage events and projects.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking ability, with experience tailoring communications to different audiences.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours, including some evening work and overnight travel.
