Facility Cleaning Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled cleaner to join our team in Western Sydney, working in a premier Aged Care or Independent Living Facility.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents. This role involves working Monday to Friday from 7am, following schedules and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the facility by completing tasks associated with cleaning both front of house and back of house areas.
  • Support the quality of life of elderly residents and make a positive impact on their wellbeing.
  • Follow schedules and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Other duties associated with cleaning requirements.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7am.
  • Previous experience working in an Aged Care environment is an advantage.
  • Experience in commercial cleaning and/or housekeeping environments.
  • Good understanding of safety elements associated with the job.
  • Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling.
  • 2 vaccinations for Covid-19 and a current Influenza vaccination.
  • Valid NDIS Workers Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Valid police check.
  • Good presentation and grooming.
  • Sound communication skills.
