About The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a NATA accredited chemical and physical testing provider to the construction industry. As a Trainee Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and completing chemical testing on construction materials to recognised test methods.
- General chemistry knowledge is preferred, with some external training.
- Full-time position with overtime.
- School Leavers / Science Graduates / Career changes are encouraged to apply.
- Up to $26 per hour.
Suitable trainee candidates will be enrolled in nationally recognised Cert III or IV Laboratory Techniques courses with internal support to complete.
Requirements- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team-driven environment.
- Familiar with relevant Australian testing standards.
- A current Australian driver's licence.
- Construction industry general induction (White Card).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
- Cert 3 or 4 in Laboratory Techniques or similar is advantageous.
All applicants must hold a valid current Australian Driver's License and have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening.
