About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a NATA accredited chemical and physical testing provider to the construction industry. As a Trainee Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and completing chemical testing on construction materials to recognised test methods.

  • General chemistry knowledge is preferred, with some external training.
  • Full-time position with overtime.
  • School Leavers / Science Graduates / Career changes are encouraged to apply.
  • Up to $26 per hour.

Suitable trainee candidates will be enrolled in nationally recognised Cert III or IV Laboratory Techniques courses with internal support to complete.

Requirements
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team-driven environment.
  • Familiar with relevant Australian testing standards.
  • A current Australian driver's licence.
  • Construction industry general induction (White Card).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
  • Cert 3 or 4 in Laboratory Techniques or similar is advantageous.
