The hotel offers an unforgettable luxury escape, blending French Zest and Sofitel luxury. A complete transformation is underway, enhancing all facilities to deliver outstanding luxury service to guests.
Job Description:
You will co-responsibility for all things bar related in your venue, overseeing shift operations, team performance, and efficiency of the bar. As Assistant Bar Leader, you'll be the best support and 2IC for the Bar Leader, ensuring exceptional service and beverage quality.
Your focus will be on specialty products, including Australian Whisky and cocktail creativity. You'll drive knowledge, creativity, and professionalism, instilling a culture of excellence. The Assistant Bar Leader is an ambassador and spokesperson for the venue.
Requirements:
- Advanced understanding of spirits and cocktails.
- Advanced Coffee & Tea experience and knowledge.
- At least 5 years experience in a high volume, high touch service cocktail environment.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role in a high volume, high touch service cocktail environment.
- At least 5-7 years experience in a CBD/ corporate hospitality environment.
- Ability to understand and react to COGS instruction.
- Advanced knowledge of BOH and FOH venue operations.
- Ambition to create a world-class bar experience and build the brand.
- Able to be active for minimum 7 hours per day.
- Full Australian Work Rights.
