We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Sutherland Hospital.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District policies, procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to promote independence, health, and well-being.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized interventions to promote independence, health, and well-being, and monitor and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Qualifications: Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award.
- Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated core competency skills relevant to the facility and the occupational therapy service, including high-level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
