Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our team at Vanguard Group. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications and databases for mainframe-, client/server-, Web-, and/or PC-based software or middleware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications and databases using full stack progressive web/web/enterprise technologies.
  • Integrate third-party products and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client business functions and technology needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following software development methodology and architecture standards.
  • Participate in design, code, and test inspections to identify issues and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply knowledge to improve our technology stack.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with full stack progressive web/web/enterprise technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud, CI/CD practices, and modern development practices.
  • Experience with API management platforms, design standards, patterns, and best practices.
  • Ability to question the status quo, challenge yourself and the business on the value that will be delivered to our customers.
