Grade 2 Pharmacy Technician Role

The primary objective of this position is to assist pharmacists in providing ward services, ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy activities. Key responsibilities include courier services, assisting with clinical trials, storing duties, purchasing, manufacturing (including sterile, non-sterile and cytotoxic) and pre-packing operations.

About You
  • A Certificate III In Hospital Pharmacy or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration with colleagues and patients.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service by understanding the needs of clients and responding promptly and professionally to their enquiries.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • A commitment to continuous quality improvement processes and ongoing change.
  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation.
  • General computer skills.
  • A willingness to work at any site of Western Health.
