National Engagement Officer

About the Role

As a National Engagement Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for customers inquiring about the NDIS and behaviour intervention supports, support coordination, and disability employment services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with potential clients, families, carers, and other service providers to understand their needs and provide information on services and pathway options.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with all enquirers, clients, families, support coordinators, and other members of a client's care team.
  • Working collaboratively with the relevant client services team to deliver a seamless and professional service.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and recording information in the appropriate system within agreed timeframes.
  • Providing regular reports and analysis as required.
  • Completing reporting requirements to the NDIA regarding client goal outcomes and success indicators as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • An understanding of person-centred thinking, the principles of the NDIS, and the National Disability Service Standards.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer service-driven environment, delivering a high-quality customer experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using various systems, including the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
  • Excellent customer engagement skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
