We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to lead the HR function within an organisation committed to person-centred care, human rights and continuous quality improvement.
Job Overview:The successful candidate will drive strategic and operational human resources initiatives aligned with the organisation's mission and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include developing a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy, overseeing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, NDIS standards and WHS obligations.
- Develop a comprehensive talent management plan to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, including job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and offer extensions.
- Support managers in performance management, investigations and grievance resolution, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and ensure audit readiness.
- Provide strategic advice to leadership and contribute to long-term workforce planning.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Extensive HR leadership experience in community, disability or health services.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and NDIS compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to work strategically and influence change at an executive level.
- Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations matters.
Applicants should have:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or related field (essential).
- Demonstrated experience working with NDIS participants with complex needs.
To commence work in this role applicants must:
- National Police Check
- Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Current Driver's Licence
- Relevant certifications in First Aid, Medication Assistance, Infection Control
- COVID-19 vaccination (two doses required)
