Job Overview:

The successful candidate will drive strategic and operational human resources initiatives aligned with the organisation's mission and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include developing a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy, overseeing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, NDIS standards and WHS obligations.

  • Develop a comprehensive talent management plan to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, including job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and offer extensions.
  • Support managers in performance management, investigations and grievance resolution, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Provide strategic advice to leadership and contribute to long-term workforce planning.
Your Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Extensive HR leadership experience in community, disability or health services.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and NDIS compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to work strategically and influence change at an executive level.
  • Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations matters.
Required Qualifications & Certifications:

Applicants should have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or related field (essential).
  • Demonstrated experience working with NDIS participants with complex needs.

To commence work in this role applicants must:

  • National Police Check
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Relevant certifications in First Aid, Medication Assistance, Infection Control
  • COVID-19 vaccination (two doses required)
