We are seeking an experienced and passionate dance teacher to deliver engaging and fun dance classes to students in primary schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality dance classes to primary school students, focusing on the latest styles and hottest music tracks.
  • Develop and choreograph dance routines for school concerts that showcase student talent.
  • Encourage and engage students to participate in dance activities, promoting a love of dance and physical activity.
  • Travel to various locations within Wollongong and Shellharbour areas to teach dance classes, ensuring a wide reach for the program.
Requirements:
  • Relevant dance experience and teaching qualifications, with a strong focus on child safety and welfare.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude, driving engagement and motivation among students.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork, ensuring smooth delivery of programs.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Background in dance studio teaching or performance, bringing valuable experience and expertise to the role.
  • Experience working with children and families, fostering strong relationships and community connections.
