About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team at Asahi Beverages. In this role, you will be working with state-of-the-art machinery, utilizing your expertise to identify and resolve technical issues, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair complex industrial equipment, including mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems;
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and productivity;
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and collaboration;
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies, procedures, and industry standards.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A trade qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a FMCG manufacturing environment;
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction;
  • Ability to work flexibly, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines;
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and other software applications relevant to the role.

Earnings:

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience.
