Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse/Midwife in the Casual Pool at a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will have the chance to deliver high-quality patient care and make a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, patient-centred care in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Assess patient needs and coordinate appropriate service delivery options.
  • Provide health education and counselling to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
  • Support and mentor newer staff members in delivering basic nursing care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with the relevant board, along with a valid practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in person-centred nursing/midwifery practice.
  • Strong communication skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities.
  • A creative, innovative, and flexible approach to challenges within a healthcare setting.
