Mechanical Engineer Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer Technician to join our team at Global Skilled Employment Services.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in mechanical engineering technology and experience in a related industry. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, be self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Complete hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain, and repair equipment and components in line with industry best practice, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead a small team or groups and train new members of the team.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.

• Associates degree in mechanical engineering technology (MIT) or similar.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Advance knowledge in animal husbandry, animal welfare, and legislation, dairy production, and OH&S.
• Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage.

A comprehensive salary package from $73,150 pa (plus superannuation) and the opportunity to work with a reputable company in the industry.
