About the Project:

The Ranger rehabilitation project is a collaborative effort to restore the land to its former glory. In over 35 years of operation, the ERA mine has transformed into a significant opportunity for environmental restoration.

This project involves a multidisciplinary team working together with ERA and Rio Tinto to create a positive impact on the environment. A key aspect of this collaboration is consulting with the Mirarr Traditional Owners to ensure the project's success benefits the Jabiru community.

This initiative paves the way in the growing area of mining closures, located near Kakadu National Park. The site spans an impressive 8 km east of Jabiru and 260 km south-east of Darwin.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for creating technical documentation for the ERA project based out of our Brisbane office. This role involves planning, writing, editing, proofreading, and coordinating document production to achieve accuracy, consistency, professionalism, and adherence to style guides.

Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Developing technical reports to support feasibility studies.
  • Collaborating with discipline engineers on Study Reports and Scope of Works / Specifications.
  • Edit and/or rewrite draft documents to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintaining document and resource files, including Office Style Guides.
  • Preparing presentations that effectively communicate information.
  • Engaging in online editing and desktop publishing tasks.

About You:

We seek a highly skilled professional with experience in technical report writing, knowledge of engineering studies, and proficiency in grammar, spelling, composition, and style rules. Your expertise in these areas will enable you to deliver high-quality work that meets the required standards.

This short-term contract role requires Right to Work in Australia without employer sponsorship. We encourage applicants who are eager to contribute their skills to a dynamic project team.
