Key Responsibilities

The Product Manager contributes to product outcomes by ensuring that the requirements of stakeholders are clearly articulated to cross-functional teams, so that solutions meet all stakeholder needs and align with organisational goals.

This role works closely with delivery teams to ensure products deliver value to customers in line with agreed delivery roadmaps.

Position Accountabilities

  • Drive specific business value and product outcomes through the design and delivery of customer-focused solutions to improve processes within complex regulatory environments.
  • Provide strategic direction and clarity of purpose to delivery resources as the voice of stakeholders.
  • Deliver execution excellence in Agile methodology and build constructive relationships to engage and influence across the organisation.
  • Work with stakeholders and delivery managers to define scope and measures of success.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure suitability, compliance and success of proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to create clear user stories and acceptance criteria for solution development.
  • Facilitate ceremonies in partnership with Scrum Masters, Change Delivery Managers and the End-to-End Enablement Team.
  • In conjunction with delivery managers, manage risks, issues and dependencies between backlog items and multiple stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Product Manager or equivalent.
  • Stakeholder engagement & management experience.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • General insurance or financial services knowledge is highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications are desirable.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to gather and interpret data to inform product decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced dynamic environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
