Heavy Plant Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Maintenance Technician to join our Plant and Logistics Team at SEE Group. This is a full-time role based out of our Yatala Workshop, requiring the successful candidate to provide field service to our fleet of heavy plant and machinery across projects in Southeast QLD and Northern NSW.
About the RoleThe Heavy Plant Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing effective and efficient preventative maintenance involving the repair, servicing and maintenance of plant, equipment, and light vehicle fleet. Additionally, they will ensure all compliance and documentation of scheduled repairs are reported in a timely manner. They must also adhere to legislative requirements and company policy when using lockout/tag-out systems.
Responsibilities- Perform quality preventative maintenance in a field environment in line with OEM specifications to ensure the effective utilisation of company-owned plant, equipment, and light vehicles.
- Carry out minor repairs as required.
- Ensure all compliance and documentation of scheduled repairs are reported in a timely manner.
- Use lockout/tag-out systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.
- A background in heavy plant maintenance.
- A clear understanding of excellence in customer service.
- Demonstrated experience in performing various tasks across the working day across multiple sites and locations.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with project teams.
- Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
- A vehicle refrigeration licence or experience would be highly desirable.
- A Trade Certificate – Heavy Plant or similar.
- A current HR Drivers Licence.
We offer competitive remuneration, ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including salary packaging and access to Toyota Fleet Discounts.
