Lanson Partners is seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Quality Engineering and Testing Capability Practice, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing quality engineering methodologies and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java.
  • Design and implement Cucumber-based automation frameworks.
  • Lead a team of software testers in structured test processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and enhance quality processes.
  • Ensure risk mitigation efforts are in place through effective testing.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, particularly in structured test processes and leading teams.
  • Background in BDD and implementing Cucumber-based automation frameworks.
  • Expertise in writing test cases for various testing phases.
  • Proven experience in test design based on thorough analysis.
  • Familiarity with UI and API testing, as well as writing SQL queries for database validation.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and transaction lifecycles.
