About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Permanent Full-Time Transportation Specialist based in Townsville. As the face of St Vincent de Paul within the community, you'll operate on the front line, supporting local communities and retail stores with the pickup and delivery of donated goods.
You'll work closely with our team to ensure that donations are efficiently collected, stored, and distributed to those who need them most. Your high energy and hands-on approach will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our donors and recipients.
We offer a great work-life balance with a set roster from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm. All driving will be done locally, with no long-haul or overnight work required.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading donated goods, including furniture items
- Distribution of goods to local stores
- Warehouse duties as required
