Job Title: Home Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Support Specialist to join our team. As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant, you will provide personalised home care support to older Australians in their own homes.

  • Domestic assistance includes light house cleaning and meal preparation.
  • Personal care services encompass showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing.
  • Community access is provided for medical appointments and social activities.
  • Support is offered with daily tasks and routines.
  • Building positive relationships with clients and their families is crucial.
Key Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support or similar qualifications are necessary.
  • An Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance are required.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • A passion for making a positive impact in our ageing community is vital.
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate is mandatory (to be obtained prior to employment).

To ensure the safety of our clients, successful candidates will be required to undergo relevant pre-employment checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance the lives of older Australians by providing tailored support that focuses on empowering every person to maintain their home comforts, health, and connections within their community.
