About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our Technology team at Scentre Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions using GCP technologies.
  • Ensure High Availability: Build high availability systems through automation and self-service to application and business teams.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Monitor and analyze trends in system performance, cost, capacity, and reliability.
  • Implement DevOps Practices: Lead and implement DevOps practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Cloud Cost Optimisation: Undertake regular analysis of cloud workloads and optimise by providing rightsizing and reducing costs.
Requirements:
  • Experience with GCP: Demonstrated 5+ years of experience working with GCP and a proven track record of building cloud infrastructure.
  • GCP Certified: GCP certified with expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong Understanding of Security: Strong understanding of GCP VPC, security, and monitoring, with experience implementing best practices.
  • CICD Tools: Proficient in CICD tools and technologies including Jira, GitHub, Buildkite, Grafana, ArgoCD, and Atlantis.
