Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our team in providing individualized services to children and youth aged 0-12 years.

This role involves working closely with families, schools, and other stakeholders to develop and implement tailored plans that support the child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children and families, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, schools, and community organizations to promote the child's well-being and advocate for their needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Speech Pathology.
  • Current professional registration with AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing, supervising, and leading staff.
  • Minimum 5 years' discipline-specific clinical experience, with sound theoretical knowledge in paediatric practice 0-12.

Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as work independently.
  • Ability to manage use of time to meet service KPIs and provide a consumer-focused, high-quality, and responsive service.
  • Knowledge and skills in the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of plans and services for children and families.
  • Competence in the use of ICT to support service delivery, such as telehealth.
  • Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe, and accessible.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks - including NDIS worker screening check, police check, pre-employment medical, and working with children check.
  • Current Victorian driver's licence.
  • Right to work in Australia e.g. Australian citizen or permanent resident.
