About the Role

The Australian Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the finance team, you will provide financial insights, drive process improvement, and enable financial decision-making to ensure financial sustainability for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including budgets, forecasts, variances, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with finance business partners to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives and provide insights, recommendations, and support.
  • Utilize Workday Adaptive to prepare and deliver clear, concise, and insightful financial reports and presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency.
  • Assess financial risks and uncertainties that may impact the organization's performance.
Requirements
  • Sound professional experience in financial analysis, business partnering, and/or management consulting.
  • Proven ability to identify issues and work through solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and insights from financial data using tools such as PowerBI.
  • Proficiency in building financial models to support decision-making processes, including valuation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Experience utilizing and supporting integration of ERP systems.
