A Clean and Caring Role

This is a great chance to join our team as an Environmental Service Worker at Golden Age Aged Care Service. We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties including kitchen, dining room, laundry and cleaning tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals for residents
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
- Assist with meal serving and setup/clean-up
- Handle laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of residential areas
Requirements:
- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations or similar is desirable
- Experience in aged care industry will be highly regarded
- Experience in commercial kitchens
- Ability to operate cleaning and laundry equipment
- Availability to work various shifts across 7-day week
- Good communication skills
- Ability to obtain current National Police Certificate
