Job Title: Senior Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cardiology Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Cardiology Service, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.

About the Role

The Cardiology Service is a multidisciplinary team that works closely with specialists across the Division of Medicine. Our diagnostic capabilities include transthoracic echo, transoesophageal echo, stress echo, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI.

  • Holter monitors
  • Blood pressure monitors
  • Exercise stress tests

An on-site cardiac cath lab provides inpatient and outpatient angiography and intervention services. We also prioritize expansion of electrophysiology services, including device implantation.

Our General Cardiology Outpatient Clinics support specialist nurses who integrate inpatient and outpatient care. The WMHHS Better Cardiac Care Service supports outreach clinics and coordination of care for vulnerable patients.

Your Responsibilities

We seek a registrar who can demonstrate respect, teamwork, compassion, and integrity in their work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert cardiology care to patients
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases is mandatory.
