About the Role

Lithgow Information & Neighbourhood Centre Limited is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Disability Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to our disability team.
  • Ensure that all services are delivered with a person-centred approach, positively impacting the lives of our participants by providing tailored support, promoting accessibility, and ensuring inclusivity in the community.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the NDIS, the local community, and how to lead a dynamic team with honesty and integrity to achieve success within the disability sector.
Selection Criteria
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Human Services and/or equivalent level of knowledge and 3 years experience in a management role in a relevant sector.
  • Extensive experience in and demonstrated knowledge of working with people with a disability.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability in planning and preparing a 24-hour staffing roster system.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work within a rigorous budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of NDIS framework; services/products and market dynamics as well as relevant NDIS legislation and policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team.
  • A current cleared 'National Criminal History Check' and WWCC.
  • Current Class C Licence.
