Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar to join our team in Alice Springs. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting neuropsychological assessments and recommending intervention strategies for Aboriginal children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders and complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of Aboriginal children and young people
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address identified needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology or related field
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Experience working with Aboriginal children and young people in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of cultural safety principles and practices
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: $109,629 - $132,658 per annum (base salary) + district allowance + superannuation + leave loading + estimated tax saving from salary packaging options = total effective package: $133,060 - $160,655 (p.a.)
  • $10,000 sign on bonus + $10,000 paid at 12 months + $10,000 paid at 24 months of continuous service (conditions apply)
  • Generous Attraction and Retention bonus (up to $30,000 after 24 months)
  • Six weeks' annual leave + generous salary packaging + access to the Congress health services for you and your immediate family at no cost + relocation assistance (where applicable) + district allowance
