We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated WAG competitive coaches to enhance our expanding team. This position involves managing your own competitive squad, where we promote creativity and fresh ideas in your training programs to assist our gymnasts in achieving their aspirations. The ideal candidates will possess prior experience in competitive coaching, demonstrating self-motivation and a commitment to delivering a high-quality program in a secure and enjoyable atmosphere.

Our scheduling is adaptable, offering casual hours along with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Role Overview:

You will play a vital role in the execution of YMCA Gymnastics programs and services. Gymnastic Instructors are expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of all facets of YMCA gymnastics initiatives, educational advancements, and industry trends. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual who is willing to implement their own ideas and initiative within their class environment.

It is essential to be eager to learn and grow while prioritizing the wellbeing of children.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • First Aid Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Intermediate Accreditation
  • Advanced Accreditation or in progress preferred
  • Current Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership

About Our Recreation Team:

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit group of energetic individuals who are passionate about staying active and assisting others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Representatives to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team is responsible for transforming our Recreation Centres into welcoming, inclusive, and safe environments – providing access to health, fitness, and recreational opportunities for those in need.
