Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, Assess, Implement and Evaluate Clinical Care

    • Contribute to the coordination of clinical care while working in partnership with the allied health team, therapy assistants, nursing, and non-clinical staff.
  • Provide Education and Support
    • Offer education and support to patients and their carers/families for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, discharge plans, or end-of-life needs.
  • Commit to Ongoing Learning and Professional Development
    • Ensure case mix requirements are supported and registration requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Current Registration
    • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy.
    • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
    • Skills, knowledge, and clinical reasoning in occupational therapy with experience and demonstrated competency in geriatrics, general medical, post-general surgical, and neurological areas.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills.
