Senior Java Developer

About the Role

Firesoft People is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our trading platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-performance Java applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient trading systems
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Java development, preferably in a trading or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and distributed systems
  • Experience with low-latency systems and code optimization techniques
  • Proficiency in Core Java, including Java 8 and above
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
