About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Training Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Operations group, you will be responsible for onboarding and training new staff, as well as providing subject matter expertise and troubleshooting support to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely in accordance with EHS guidelines and adhere to Patheon cGMP Quality Management System requirements.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff on operational procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions for processes using the Electronic Document Management System.
  • Assist in deviation investigation and determination/implementation of preventative/corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Significant cGMP experience and technical knowledge in Media and Buffer preparation process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks and manage conflicting priorities independently.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and a dedication to excellence.
  • Preference for a Degree level in Biology, Chemistry or related field or related work experience.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft packages i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience using SFLMS, eDMS, Trackwise, SAP.
