About the RoleAs an Education Counsellor, you will provide top-notch counselling services to help international students find the institution that best aligns with their learning and career goals. This includes providing relevant information and advice on study opportunities, local education systems, cultures and geographic regions.
The role involves assisting with application documentation, facilitating enrolments and promoting products and services.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our office.
Main Responsibilities- Drive achievement of pipeline goals, customer satisfaction and advocacy targets throughout the student journey, including promoting products and services, managing leads and successful applications, seeking referral opportunities and participating in events.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, their families and education providers during the process, including engaging in planning activities to build student engagement and regularly communicating with students and education providers.
- Experience in sales or customer service driven environments, including achieving individual and team-based targets.
- A good understanding of the international education sector and student placement into VET and universities, including immigration requirements and processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or prior experience working as an Education Counsellor or similar role.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, including fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Hindi, Mandarin, Filipino or Vietnamese highly desirable.
