About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Western Australia. This role will operate on a DIDO basis, working on a regional rail project.

Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in the delivery of all aspects of Rail. Our team of technical experts delivers a high portfolio of work across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to commissioning activities, track costs, manage subcontractors, and interface with design management and construction delivery teams while adhering to Laing O'Rourke's safety policies and procedures.
  • Direct, perform, and mentor direct report project and site engineers on the project.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and construction contracting experience.
  • Experience working on SMP/civil construction projects in the mining and resources industry with a focus on bulk earthworks and concrete.
  • Collaborative approach with proven ability to work in a team.
  • Knowledge of legislation, standards, and guidance related to systems engineering for rail or infrastructure projects.
