The NSW State Emergency Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Mental Health Services team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the psychological well-being of our staff and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a high-performing team of mental health professionals to provide clinical management and support services.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote psychological safety, resilience, and mental health wellbeing in the workplace.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of mental health services and programs.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to team members to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality services.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments to ensure our services remain relevant and effective.
- Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with 5 years post-graduate experience in Clinical, Counselling, or Organisational Psychology.
- Board-approved Supervisor with AHPRA or commitment to successful completion of competency-based supervisor training.
- Current Driver's License and ability to travel throughout NSW.
- Thorough knowledge of AIIMS principles and processes, or willingness to obtain competency within 12 months.
