Job Opportunity: We are seeking a senior level risk and compliance lawyer to join our dynamic national team at Montgomery Advisory. This role will work across the compliance and legal functions, building out and managing various risk programs focused on bribery, anti-corruption, and competition, anti-trust law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relevant legal experience and a deep understanding of risk and compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience offering strategic insights and adding value to effectively implement strong compliance strategies.
  • Ability to identify risks, document processes, and manage any legal or operational issues that arise.
  • Engagement with the wider business, with critical and analytical thought, offering strategic insights grounded in a deep understanding of compliance and legal landscapes.

Requirements:

  • Australian qualified lawyer with at least 8 years' experience in the risk and compliance sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborative and strong influencing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and advanced organisational and time-management skills.
