About the Role

The Head Gymnastics Coach is a key leadership position responsible for the overall success of the gymnastics programs at Belgravia Kids. This role requires a strong leader who can drive program excellence, maintain a positive and inclusive culture, and ensure the delivery of high-quality gymnastics programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial budgets and grow membership
  • Lead the development of gymnastics programs, focusing on progression, fun, and safety
  • Collaborate with coaches and program managers to improve programs and services
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
  • Resolve customer and parent queries and complaints with a service-first attitude
  • Coordinate staff training and professional development
  • Ensure effective communication between staff and with customers
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation, including child safety standards
  • Implement and utilize business systems to drive efficient operations
  • Ensure the quality of gymnastics facilities and equipment

Requirements

  • Advanced Gymnastics Australia Coach Accreditation
  • Knowledge of gymnastics programs, particularly children's gymnastics
  • Current Gymnastics Australia technical membership
  • Annual updates to gymnastics accreditation
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate

Desirable Qualifications

  • Gymnastics Australia Presenter and assessor accreditation
  • Gymnastics Australia accredited Supervisor
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing staff and coaches
  • Knowledge of gymnastics levels and the Gymstar program
  • Knowledge of child development
