Maintenance Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Tropicana Surface Gold mine. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide effective supervision to the plant maintenance crews and contribute to the delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise maintenance personnel and subcontractors during shifts to ensure safe and efficient work practices;
- Undertake regular feedback reviews with direct reports to identify areas for improvement and development;
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements that lead to safer workplaces, increased productivity, and enhanced efficiency;
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance activities, including schedules, performance metrics, and incident reporting;
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to align maintenance activities with business objectives;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A relevant Australian-recognized trade qualification or equivalent experience;
- Detailed knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment, surface ancillary plant, and mining regulations;
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including maintenance scheduling and preventative maintenance methods;
- Proven supervisory management skills, with a focus on leadership, communication, and team development;
- At least five years of trade experience as a tradesperson, preferably in a similar environment;
- Experience working with a variety of equipment and systems;
- A current driver's license (manual).
The remuneration package for this role includes:
- An attractive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience;
