About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality personal care to our residents in permanent part-time night duty shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting residents with daily tasks, personal care, and mobility
  • Developing and delivering person-centred care plans in collaboration with the team
  • Supporting residents with meals and drinks, promoting independence and confidence
  • Nurturing partnerships with residents, recognising their unique needs and preferences
  • Encouraging residents to make choices about their lifestyle and activities of daily living, in line with their care plan

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Demonstrated experience in a personal carer role, able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Sound best practice personal and clinical care skills appropriate to the role
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound time management to manage workload efficiently
  • Excellent understanding of supporting residents living with dementia, including those displaying challenging behaviours
  • Senior First Aid Certificate desirable
  • An understanding of AN-ACC requirements desirable

Salary: $62,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. The salary includes benefits such as meal and uniform allowances, and access to training opportunities.
