Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team in Port Macquarie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our customers, including:

  • Domestic Assistance: Ensuring our customers' homes are safe and clean, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Assisting with meal planning and preparation, as well as supporting customers with shopping trips.
  • Social Support and Transport: Providing emotional support and transportation to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged.
  • Personal Care: Supporting customers with daily living tasks, such as getting up, showered, and dressed, managing medication, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Offering respite care and emotional support to our customers, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
  • Social Support and Transport to Appointments: Accompanying customers to appointments, providing ongoing support and assistance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role, including personal care experience.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is a part of the role.
  • The ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems while knowing when to ask for help.
