Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $108,360-$151,704 per annum, depending on location, with ranges varying from site to site.

Job Description

This role is part of the Test & Flight Operations team, providing centralized support to Business Units with a focus on the design, build, and maintenance of ground systems, test, and launch facilities across multiple locations. As a Project Controls Specialist, you will work closely with project/program managers to define scope and estimate work, build integrated schedules, track status, and develop recovery plans.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates for ground systems development projects.
  2. Monitor and report on project performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment on project objectives and milestones.
  4. Support the development of project budgets and forecasts, tracking actual costs and analyzing variances.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project plans are aligned with overall program objectives and schedules.
  6. Provide project management support, including document control, progress tracking, and coordination of project reviews and approvals.
  7. Support the development and implementation of project control processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of project performance tracking.
  8. Assist in the preparation of project status reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  2. No less than 5 years of experience in project controls, program management, or a related field within the aerospace, high-pressure system, or similar safety-critical industry.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management principles on complex, multi-disciplinary systems.
  4. Prioritized self-starter, capable of breaking down complex problems into traceable tasks and concisely presenting project status.
  5. U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with or in heavy industry capital projects, implementation of Earned Value Management, and experience with some or all of the following tools: MS Project, Primavera P6, Tableau, Windchill, Jira, Confluence, and executive-level project status reporting.
