The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with great expertise on React framework, Next.js, and Node.js.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating on the development of our frontend applications with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of BRG public storefront applications
  • Plan the architecture, develop and maintain our frontend applications using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, NextJS, and ReactJS
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product owners to create user-friendly interfaces that meet business requirements
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Work closely with DevOps engineers to deploy and maintain applications in production
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development and advocate for their adoption when beneficial
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and contribute to ongoing improvements
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, and extensive knowledge of TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of web standards, responsive design, and accessibility
  • Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with OpenAPI for API design and integration
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
