Clarendon Homes is a leading project housing enterprise in NSW and QLD, renowned for its passionate people, innovative designs, and high-quality homes. Established in 1978, the company consists of Clarendon Homes, Domaine Homes, and CPG Estates.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Cost Controller to oversee the coding and processing of ETS requests for Clarendon Homes and Domaine Homes. As a critical member of our team, you will serve as the primary escalation point for resolving on-site issues and ensure the profitability of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the ETS Officer in coding and processing ETS requests for both Clarendon Homes and Domaine Homes.
- Act as a point of escalation for ETS disputes and challenges from supply chain and internal stakeholders.
- Review approved ETS's daily to ensure accurate coding and identify trends to address root cause.
- Produce monthly ETS reports and coordinate monthly ETS meetings.
- Provide advice on reducing ETS costs and coordinate execution of associated actions.
- Complete audits on material deliveries to ensure suitable DIFOT is maintained by suppliers.
- Assist with providing training for Site Managers and Construction Area Managers on initiatives to reduce/manage ETS costs.
- Responsible for ETS performance against agreed targets.
- Site Manager (or Trade) and Estimating experience, ideally 2 years or each.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Estimating Software (e.g., IPS, Timberline).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
- A sound knowledge of the construction process and production estimating.
