About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Ventia, a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand. As a Fitter, you will play a critical role in inspecting, repairing, and reconditioning military hardware to ensure it is functional and meets the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on military hardware and Defence armaments
  • Safely operate machinery to repair, manufacture or modify required parts
  • Certify plant and equipment as serviceable and fit for purpose
  • Provide occasional support to various Defence Bases across the state assisting with Armory maintenance
Requirements
  • Possess a Trade Certificate III Engineering Mechanical (Fitter & Turner) or Certificate III Engineering Mechanic (General Fitter)
  • Hold valid Australian Driver's License
  • MR of HR License - Desirable
  • Physically fit and enjoy hands-on work
  • You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
