Senior Economic Lead

  • Develop economic analysis, regional, and macroeconomic insights to drive company publications through recurring research articles, blogs, and detailed commentary pieces.
  • Lead monthly forecasting processes, ensuring high-quality outputs across forecast components.
  • Design complex econometric models and estimate equations independently with senior staff review as needed.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for specific regions, states, or countries, including sub-national and international economies.
  • Own custom consulting projects, managing client relationships, and delivering proposals with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to the development of proprietary data, indicators, and subscription products, while improving product offerings.
  • Represent the organization in media interviews, teleconferences, client presentations, and conferences, establishing thought leadership in economics.
  • Supervise junior economists, providing day-to-day oversight, training, and performance evaluations.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in macroeconomic analysis, technical writing, econometric modeling, and statistical analysis. Strong interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with clients and deliver customized solutions.

Qualifications
  • PhD in Economics or related field with 5+ years' experience, OR Master's degree with 10+ years' experience.
