Workshop Supervisor Job Description

This hands-on role requires physical manual handling of industrial and hydraulic hoses and fittings to prepare customer orders for dispatch.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assemble Industrial and Hydraulic hose
  • Manufacture and test hose assemblies in accordance with Australian Standards
  • Follow procedures for workshop duties such as work orders, schedules, registers, fitting, cleaning
  • Become familiar with and have a strong working knowledge of the hose management program
  • Pick and pack orders when required
  • Receive, unpack and store goods according to appropriate procedures
  • Assist with stock takes and stock management
  • Use forklifts/machinery to move goods
  • Operate power tools
Ideal Skills & Experience:
  • Holding a valid drivers license and owning reliable transport is essential
  • Being fit and energetic due to the physical requirements of this position
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrating understanding of manufacturing standards
  • Having experience in the Industrial Hose and Hydraulics industry or similar background is preferred
  • Obtaining a forklift license is desirable
