We are seeking a reliable and caring team member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff at our hospital. This dynamic position plays a vital role in emergency security response, helping to ensure the hospital remains safe and secure.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality cleaning services and provide hands-on support to nursing and medical staff with direct patient care, including lifting, showering, and personal assistance.

You will be responsible for transporting patients and essential items throughout the hospital, ensuring smooth and compassionate service at every step.

This opportunity allows you to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care and safety.

As a Health and Security Assistant, you'll interpret and follow Material Safety Data sheets (MSD's), Safe Work Practices sheets (SWP's) and written instructions, and communicate effectively with patients, members of the public, and within the team.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hygiene, infection prevention and control, and environmental cleaning standards.
  • Hold current NSW Security licence, Senior First Aid Certificate, Class C Drivers' Licence or eligible for NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Have experience in managing confrontation and aggression.
