Submarine Construction Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Submarine Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our SSN AUKUS Build Program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in submarine construction.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves contributing to the setup of a joint venture between ASC and BAE Systems – leading the construction of Australia's SSN-AUKUS submarines. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance process models and frameworks aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Analysis and Modelling: Undertake business process analysis and modelling across internal teams to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance processes comply with relevant standards, regulations, and internal protocols.
  • Risk Analysis: Integrate risk analysis into process modelling to support informed decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative, efficient solutions.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • BPMN 2.0 qualification highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in quality, process improvement, project management, or business intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Process Management principles and tools.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance software and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in process redesign and operational requirements gathering.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a systems-thinking mindset.
