About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Facilities to join our team at Transurban. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in setting the strategic direction of our facilities management function and ensuring the delivery of our workplace strategy to meet our current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities management services to support the growth and success of Transurban.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of facilities professionals to deliver best-in-class facilities management services.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate business processes, and partner with our technology team to leverage our technologies to ensure seamless experiences for our users.
- Represent the facilities function across the business, establishing best practice standards for facilities and driving cultural change.
- Ensure safety is always top priority for the business and its employees, providing safe, clean, and operational facilities that are compliant with local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar senior facilities management role, ideally across multiple sites and regions within a corporate environment.
- Experience in overseeing a complex portfolio of owned and leased buildings, facilities management, consolidation projects, and contract management, including managing large teams of contractors.
- Sound knowledge of various codes and HSE regulations.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and remain calm in a crisis, with a willingness to get hands-on to resolve situations.
- Experience in mentoring, leading, and influencing others, with a strong track record of delivering long-term strategic objectives.
